Position Description :
Serco Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT Support team supporting an Army Installation Management Command/Child/Youth Services contract. This position will report to the Service Delivery Manager and manage the contract’s FedRamp SAAS installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, including experience with ITSM ServiceNow modules. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to enhance our IT service management processes.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and practices
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting
  • Experience with ServiceNow Upgrade and Release Management
  • Understanding of ServiceNow Security and Access Control
  • Experience with Asset, HAM, CMDB implementation
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications preferred
    In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $83,365.11 to $138,941.85; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and enhancements as the program grows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Assist in the documentation of processes, workflows, and technical configurations.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
  • Perform unit testing and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide Level 2 support for ServiceNow-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolving problems as needed.
  • Participate in the development of ServiceNow best practices, standards, and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends
    Qualifications:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
