Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Substantial experience working with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integration especially with service graph connectors.
  • Demonstrates capability of proactive end-to-end ownership of product delivery including delivery to estimates, robust hosting, smooth release management, and consistency in quality.
  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge and experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SecOps).
  • Strong experience in Scripting and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Proficient with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The ServiceNow Developer role will be multifaceted by nature and will have you liaising with internal and external stakeholders alike so communication and collaboration are paramount to your success in this role. The successful ServiceNow Developer will work in the digital team to tackle complex business challenges with transformative digital solutions and thrive in a trust-based, inclusive environment that values excellence and curiosity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that development work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and other teams to ensure that development work is aligned with business requirements.
  • Provide technical support to other teams and help resolve technical issues.
  • Hands-on delivery of change requests for ServiceNow modules.
  • Influence and recommend solutions for the prioritisation strategy for new requirements, to provide an audit trail, transparency.
  • Develop existing and new processes by analysing and identifying areas for modification.
  • Maintain systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.
  • Write and maintain code specification and business functionality/user documentation. Maintain documentation.
  • Analyse the performance of the ServiceNow enterprise platform to take action to correct deficiencies along with other team members.
  • Undertake development of scoped product features and enhancements as per business requirements.
