We are seeking a sessional instructor to teach undergraduate courses in Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and deliver active teaching to ensure lectures are engaging. The candidate needs to be able to lead discussions and facilitate practical exercises, using computer simulations that are designed to meet the module learning outcomes and to help students understand core concepts such as online marketing strategies, social media platforms, content creation, analytics, SEO, and paid advertising.
These modules are well establishing with the marketing undergraduate marketing curriculum, and you will be able to access a range of existing well developing teaching and learning resources.
You will be responsible for assessing student performance and providing feedback. Industry experience in digital marketing and a strong grasp of current trends and tools are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven teaching or industry experience in digital marketing and social media marketing
  • Relevant degree, master’s or equivalent professional experience
  • Prior undergraduate or postgraduate teaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet the University guidelines on including teaching practice.
