Role Overview:
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be assisting in managing SETTIMO by Guy Grossi, Brisbane’s best Italian Restaurant. You will need to be able to provide leadership to a diverse team, ensuring all employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times. Handle guest inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently. Create and communicate the rosters and delegation of tasks and responsibilities. Control manning levels of the Restaurant in relation to occupancy, requirements, service quality, and costs. Provide training and onboarding support for new associates within the department. Liaising with all necessary departments to ensure the productivity of the outlet is successful in its daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor the restaurant team, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations
- Provide warm, friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure prompt resolution of any guest complaints, reporting any issues and recommending solutions
- Monitor the quality of food and beverages and service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Strong team work to lead your section during busy period and supports team efforts ensuring smooth operations
- Ensuring staff upholds brand values and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and placing orders to avoid shortages
- Conduct regular checks on cash handling, billing and POS system accuracy
- Contribute to menu planning and promotional activities in collaboration with the culinary team
