Description:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and best practices.
- Proven experience of leading a migration to SharePoint.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools to support set-up and migration to SharePoint.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of M365 architecture and Entra capabilities to support collaborative working.
- Experience in the full lifecycle of SharePoint projects and operations.
- Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 365 and its functionalities, with relevant certifications.
- Creating a standardised taxonomy and structure for SharePoint solutions.
- Able to handle remediation necessary to enable the migration of content from Azure storage/network drive to SharePoint.
- Able to use Azure storage and virtual machines.
- Understand and able to select appropriate tools to support a SharePoint migration.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Confident individual with the good interpersonal skills, able to deal with people at all levels and communicate to users in a clear, non-technical language.
- Previous experience of public sector or government would be useful.
- Strongly customer-focused, used to providing support to non-technical users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions that meet organisational needs.
- Create documentation to ensure long-term use of SharePoint.
- Work with teams to turn their needs into effective SharePoint solutions.
- Train and support staff in using SharePoint.
- Lead the migration of records, ensuring data stays accurate and accessible.
- Act as the SharePoint expert for the organization.
- Resolve file issues that may hinder content migration to SharePoint.
