EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- Solid understanding of SHE legislation
- Practical experience in applying SHE processes and practices at remote sites
- Experience working with SHE counterparts from clients and certification bodies
- Familiarity with civil engineering works methodology, ideally within the highways sector
- Knowledge of broader construction disciplines such as groundworks, earthworks, drainage, and structures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or similar
- Experience within a Tier 1 contracting environment is advantageous

Responsibilities:
As a Senior SHE Advisor, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing our SHE strategic plan. Your role will involve ensuring our safety management systems meet both internal and external standards while fostering a culture of safety and collaboration across all projects. Your primary focus will be on safeguarding everyone affected by our work and maintaining a safe, healthy working environment where every team member returns home safely each day.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with reporting procedures, providing timely interventions, and supporting continuous improvement in safety processes and people skills. Additionally, you will offer expert advice on SHE legal requirements and industry best practices.
