Description:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within civil engineering, construction, renewable energy, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining sectors.
- Proficiency in SHE-Q regulations and systems.
- Minimum MBO level of working and thinking.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with heavy transport and lifting operations is an advantage.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
- SHE-Q Advisor for Heavy Lifting and Transport Projects
- Europe
Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Mammoet. As a SHE-Q professional, you will be instrumental in fostering and evolving our safety culture. You will empower our colleagues, contractors, and clients to uphold Mammoet’s highest safety standards. In this pivotal role, you will be the go-to SHE-Q expert for major European projects, from the sales phase through engineering, execution, and final evaluation.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be an essential member of the Project Team, providing support to apply our rigorous safety and quality policies. You’ll be a mentor and motivator for our staff and subcontractors, enhancing their safety awareness and behaviors.
- You engage in risk assessment sessions (TRA’s, Project Risk Assessments, HAZID/HAZOP).
- You craft and evaluate project SHE/Q/E plans and those of subcontractors.
- You ensure compliance with Project SHE-Q requirements.
- You perform workplace inspections, advising and training our team on safety risks and standards.
- You lead safety presentations and on-the-job training (including for third-party hires).
- You participate in various SHE-Q related meetings, both internally and with clients.
- You conduct incident investigations and assess safety and environmental risks.
- You compile SHE-Q reports and manage related notifications in our systems.
- You support management in advancing our safety policies by keeping abreast of market trends and translating them into internal procedures.
- You oversee internal and external (client) audits.
