Description:
Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH located at the airport Berlin-Schönefeld was founded in 2018 and is a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair. We have over 100 highly trained and dedicated engineers responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircrafts in multiple bases all over Germany.
The Irish airline is, at the moment, operating an aircraft fleet of more than 450 modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will, until 2027, further expand. Additional 150x 737 8200 have been ordered to be delivered between 2027 and 2030.
We are currently looking for 2 Sheet Metal Workers to join our Berlin Brandenburg Line Maintenance Station.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must hold demonstrable experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair
- Previous maintenance experience on B737 is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of technical drawing
- Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment
- Must be flexible, including availability to work overtime as and when required
- Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel
- Excellent communication skills - fluent English is essential
- Good computer literacy
- Willing to work shift
- A valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union (VISA Support unavailable for this position)
- A valid EU driver’s license
- Preferably a valid German security clearance according to § 7 of German Aviation Security Act
Responsibilities:
- Aircraft body structure and parts repair on Ryanair fleet aircraft, in according with approved maintenance data and procedures
- Performing metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting and bucking work.
- Working with, amongst others, relevant equipment -Bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening, Drill or Grinder as usual working tools.
- To find the most suitable repair solutions and implementation in according to the Maintenance Repair Manuals
- Any other duties as requested by your Shift Leader / Hangar Manager
