We’re looking for a Sheeting Helper who will work in a collaborative team environment with our Sheeting Operators to ensure production and quality targets are met.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Self-motivated attitude with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (rotating Continental shifts)

Responsibilities:

  • Check for paper damages and ensure the correct roll size, grade and caliper are used before preparing rolls to be loaded onto the machine band.
  • Wrap, strap and label finished cut paper skids.
  • Operate electric walkie and/or forklift in a safe and efficient manner to move finished cut paper skids to the shipping area.
  • Keep work area clean at all times, strapping waste skids as needed.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with company’s standard and procedures.
  • Perform additional related duties, as assigned.
