Catholic Charities of Acadiana is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shelter Case Manager to join our team. This role is integral to providing housing assistance to guests of our shelter, utilizing Housing First and Harm Reduction theories, and employing non-authoritarian problem resolution techniques. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience
• At least two years of service coordination or related social service experience.
• Knowledge of homelessness and housing programs is helpful.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness.
• Exceptional problem resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain appropriate behavior and personal boundaries.
