Description:
VANRATH are assisting in the recruitment of a SHEQ Manager for a large Manufacturing & Distribution organisation. The organisation has had constant growth, and the successful candidate would join a part-of-the-future organisation.
Office is based in Toome or Fivemiletown - Monday to Friday - This role is a 12-18 Month FTC.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring that HSEQ is firmly embedded within the culture of the Company and its employees.
- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement, leadership and empowerment to ensure all our employees, customers and contractors go home safe
- Align with the Company CSR strategy and sustainable business journey. Work in partnership with employees, the local community, customers, contractors, suppliers, clients and all stakeholders ensuring a positive impact on society.
- Maintain, develop and audit AG’s integrated HSEQ Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 ISO 45001 & BES6001) and deliver on HSEQ KPI’s to ensure a culture of continuous improvement is sustaine
- Contribute to a workplace culture that promotes and supports the physical and mental wellbeing of all employees
- Monitor and advise on suitable control measures for HSEQ risks arising from our work activities; ensuring that all operations are managed in such a way as to prevent injuries, ill health and minimise environmental impact
- Proactively monitor HSEQ compliance across all sites, advise on and implement improvements where necessary Support, implement and improve the use of the HSEQ technology across the company
- Maintain HSEQ policies, procedures and risk assessments ensuring adequate control and compliance with relevant legislation/guidance
