Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 / N3 with Maths and Science (mandatory)
- Underground blasting certificate for Fiery Mines
- Academic or Tertiary qualification in mining industry
- Flameproof
- Gas Testing Certificate
- Competent A
- Computer Literacy (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 8 years work experience within the mining industry, specifically underground in coal mines.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Shift Boss (coal mining)
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in contract operations, site management / supervisor experience in a mining environment.
- 3 – 5 Experience Section Belts maintenance and Belt Extensions.
