  • Experience in managing people/teams

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The position’s main responsibility is maintaining the utilization of the production capacity and ensure that the work instructions are updated and followed by the team. Another responsibility is managing and coordinating the activities of a team of workers during a shift and ensuring that safety guidelines are followed. The shift leader is also responsible for personal follow-ups with the teams, training, competence, and personal needs.
Role reports to: SVP Manufacturing Europe

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily organize the shift team and training of operators
  • Responsible for ensuring that workers follow all safety guidelines and procedures and addressing safety concerns that arises during the shift. Including conducting safety training for new employees and enforcing the use of protective equipment
  • Conduct follow ups with workers on any concerns that arise during the shifts, such as performance issues, problems with equipment, or communication problems
  • Ensure that the Work Instructions (WI) for the different production cells are updated and followed
  • Ensure that the daily routines are followed regarding start-up, breaks, shift-handover and end-shift closing
  • Responsible for approving hours (ERP), sick leave and vacation (Visma) days for the shift workers
  • Plan and approve ordinary and additional work hours
  • Ensuring that all necessary work on equipment is approved by Maintenance Manager
