Shift Manager

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to play a vital role to support the Warehouse and Stock Manager in achieving operational KPI’s across all contracts in this multi user environment and to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and company policy and procedure in respect of h&s, environment, and working time regulations.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Plan and manage operations resources to optimize the utilization of labour and equipment to effectively manage forecasted volumes
• Accountable for delivery of all aspects of the shift operation ensuring the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused service to all customers on-site
• Create a culture of continuous improvement in all areas
• Compliance in all areas of legislation: Employment, H&S, environmental.
• Maintain and develop a constructive relationship with all customers in line with customer KPI’s
• Communicate regularly with all stakeholders
• Support the path to quality and ensure adequate resources are deployed to meet DHL PTQ standards
• Manage poor performance in all people-related issues
