JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lara Gas Terminal is a 7 day, 24Hr operation that requires a skilled Shift Supervisor, who is committed, self-sufficient and able to work autonomously to effectively cover day and night operations at the terminal on a rolling shift pattern. You will be working within a team environment with the Lara Terminal Manager and other Shift Supervisors to achieve site outcomes.
Key responsibility for the site is to operate and manage the Lara LPG Storage facility ensuring safe operation, product quality, movement’s coordination, and maintain security at the Terminal. Your day-to-day activities will be associated with process and equipment where you are involved in daily decision making, priority settings and performing safety checks.
You will perform troubleshooting activities and ensure record keeping and analysis to maintain safe and continuous operation of the Terminal.
You will facilitate maintenance and project activities to keep the Terminal operating at its optimum performance and, ensure the safety and wellbeing of people performing maintenance and project work on equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideally you hold a trade or technical background.
• You hold plant operational experience or experience in a related heavy industry.
• You are an excellent communicator at all levels.
• You are a team player with a commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Hold the ability to work autonomously
