We are Zambrero. Australia’s largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. Responsibilities:
Our Shift Supervisor take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations in the restaurant.
- Leading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operations
- Being a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
- Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
- Assisting with hiring new team members and on-boarding them
- Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staff
- Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
- Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
- Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
- Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
- Assisting with executing marketing promotions
- Ensuring safety and security standards are recognized and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
