Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Run processes according to established guidelines and operational plans.
- Enhance production efficiency and equipment performance with supervisor approval.
- Conduct regular plant inspections, documenting findings and reporting issues.
- Collect samples for product and process analysis.
- Document and investigate any operational deviations or safety concerns.
- Collaborate on maintenance scheduling and execution, including shutdown and startup procedures.
- Offer support to maintenance and quality control teams as needed.
- Perform shift analyst duties when assigned.
- Act as a backup firefighter when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Chemical Engineering diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably in polymerization, extrusion, or similar processes.
- Fundamental understanding of maintenance practices, chemical engineering principles, and analytical methods.
- Familiarity with computerized control systems (DCS) is a plus.
