Description:

Your North London Canadian Tire Store (HydePark Road) is seeking an early morning receiving clerk. The receiving team works in a fast-paced environment which involves using manual and power equipment and some heavy lifting. This shift starts at 5 am, so personal transportation is a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receives, scans, verifies, and stores all incoming and overstock products according to established procedures and policies
  • Ships returns and completes proper paperwork
  • Reconciles inventory differences
  • Prepares merchandise for filing, sorts and fills merchandise carts for the retail floor
  • Operates computer and scanning tools, and enters all relevant coding in Canadian Tire systems
  • Is responsible for the safe operation of all warehouse equipment (forklift, skyjack etc.)
  • Complies with company, store, and warehouse policies
  • Abides by all health and safety programs and regulations
  • Completes other tasks, as required

Requirements:

  • Own transportation able to start at 5 am
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • ability to lift repetitively
  • basic math and computer skills
  • certification in operating warehouse equipment is an asset

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.25-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
