Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for working with other warehouse personnel to assemble orders, route inventory, and support production while working in a safe efficient and courteous environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all shipments are properly prepared, as required in Oracle for shipping and accompanied by a bill of lading, regardless of size or quantity as well as any other assigned duties that may be requested.
- Work on the various orders i.e.: NSLC, NBLC, NLCC, PEILC, etc. While picking orders, ensure the product is free from damage and clean.
- Assist in warehouse cleaning and organization.
- Clean work area with a routine schedule and when needed.
- As requested, do inventory on case goods when required.
- Practice safe and courteous lift truck operation. Inspect and record lift truck daily routine check. Report to Warehouse Lead hand any problems with lift truck.
- Supply glass and packaging to the line for production and remove finished goods in a timely manner.
- Record and report unresolved order issues to the Warehouse Lead hand.
- Store and/or direct all receivables, including pallets to appropriate person or place.
- Load the palletizer with empty skids and properly store pallets needed for production.
- Wear Personal protective equipment and follow safe work practices at all times.
- Actively participate in the identification and correction of workplace hazards to prevent workplace injuries.
- Report unsafe acts and conditions immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Report all work-related injuries to the Operations Manager immediately.
- Consistently provides and strives for excellent internal and external Customer Service.
- Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions / hazards to their reporting Manager.
