Shipper/Receiver and Data Entry

at  MEADOW BERRY FARMS LTD

We are a blueberry processing and packaging plant located in Pitt Meadows BC.
We are looking to fill a position for a Shipper/Receiver and Data Entry . This is a full time permanent position.

Job Description:

• Inspection of products during receiving and shipping
• Periodic inspection of area of responsibility
• Verifying the accuracy of records and paperwork
• Holding non-conforming products and reporting any findings and actions taken to Quality Management.
• Data entry tasks
• other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must have vehicle (No public transportation available in the area)
• Must be able to write clearly and legibly.
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Well organized, detail oriented and works well with others
• Problem identification and solving capabilities.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a food processing environment is an asset.
  Start: As soon as possible
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
