Your mission: As a Shipper at Reliable Controls, your primary responsibility will be to orchestrate the seamless and timely dispatch of all shipping orders, ensuring each package meets our high standards of accuracy and care. A linchpin of our shipping operations, meticulously preparing all necessary shipping and customs documentation. Working in a team you will support with driving continuous improvement in our processes, delivering our commitment to unparalleled customer service and operational brilliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for ensuring the day to day processes are executed correctly and escalating any barriers or issues to the Supervisor as needed
  • Ensure all orders from shipping department are fulfilled accurately and correctly from all team members
  • Ensure that all shipping and customs documents are prepared accurately and correctly by all team members
  • Responsible for writing and maintaining all procedures and work instructions for the shipping department with approval from Supervisor
  • Responsible for the organization of shipping area and maintaining proper 5S processes
  • Under the direction of the department supervisor, responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of the shipping process
  • Coordinate the daily shipping priorities for product needs and communicate to all necessary stakeholders in operations via daily email and daily SIM with Supervisor
  • Ensure the cycle count for finished goods process is completed as required
  • Accurately work with GP to assist in the control of inventory
  • Manage inventory using FIFO and FMR methodologies
  • Will be required to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 2+ years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good computer skills, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
