We are looking for a Shipping Agent to join our Team!

In this role, you will:

  • Ship and track international & domestic shipments
  • Prepare and determine correct shipping paperwork required such as customs documentation, commercial invoices, waybills, bill of lading (BOL) and export/import customs declarations
  • Book appropriate approved carrier or freight forwarder for each shipment
  • Track and report shipment status to internal and external customers
  • Obtain shipping/freight quotations
  • Coordinate with internal departments for smooth transactions
  • Respond and resolve shipping issues & questions
  • Manage & coordinate multiple projects at the same time
  • Act as backs up receiver as required

What You Bring:

  • Proven Success in a shipping and logistics role with 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Knowledgeable in International Shipping regulations, customs documentation, incoterms.
  • Understands Trade Compliance regulations
  • Experience shipping Hazardous and Dangerous goods
