Shipping and Receiving Associate

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous picking/packing/shipping experience
• Familiar with International shipping standards and documentation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for extended periods; stand, kneel, walk and bend as required throughout the work day to accomplish various tasks
  Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push or carry various types of packages weighing approximately 1-60 pounds and process accordingl

• Pull parts for jobs on the shop floor according to work orders
• Receive items into stock from deliveries and inspection
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including quarantine and staging areas
• Prepare and print proper shipping paperwork (as necessary)
• Identify and expedite Rush or Back Ordered goods
• Make sure parts are in good condition/shape prior to receiving from Inspection or outside vendors
