We are currently seeking a diligent Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Dry Blending team. This role will be integral to our shipping and receiving operations, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

SKILLS:

  • Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, and GMPs.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and handle multiple assignments within limited time constraints.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional project teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, UPS Software, and FedEx Software.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter data for Certificates of Analysis, Specification Sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all shipping documents and functions.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Notify and/or deliver incoming product to end-users.
  • Complete daily receiving entries in the computer system.
  • Utilize RF Scanners and Barcode Printers for efficient inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and general housekeeping of the dock and inventory areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments for effective coordination.
  • Understand and implement Company Certified programs such as HACCP, NSF, SQF, Food Defense, and Food Safety programs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
    Education:High School diploma or equivalent required.
    Experience:Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
