We are expanding our services internationally and require a Logistics/Shipping Clerk for our Kingston location.
The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring the paperwork and arrangements for the transport of materials, supplies and finished products is efficiently and effectively coordinated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Clerical data entry experience (preferred)
· Microsoft Office experience
· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
· Strong analytical and common reasoning skills
· Strong computer skills
· Strong decision-making skills
· Ability to retain information quickly
· Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Must be able to multi-task and prioritize daily objectives
· Have a strong work ethic and be able to cohesively operate in a team environment
The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs periodically, sit for long periods of time, go in and out of the office/plant environment throughout the day (requires CSA approved work boots), to be able to think on their feet. Candidates must have their own vehicle as there is no public transportation to our facility. Working hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday with occasional extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities:
· Execute all shipments by planning, preparing and prioritizing all orders according to delivery schedules.
· Work closely with the shipping team in the warehouse and other various managers throughout the day in a coordinated effort to meet the daily shipment objectives.
· Verify accuracy of customer sales order against skid sheets and customer purchase orders.
· Create and prepare bills of lading, packing slips, skid labels and customs documentation
· Retrieve and enter data into an ERP system for customer shipment information.
· Receive and enter data into an ERP system for procurement purposes.
· Obtain freight quotes, authorization and arrange transportation for both international and domestic deliveries and returns.
