Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Under general supervision, The Shipping and Receiving Clerk II performs a variety of receiving and shipping tasks. Follows established shipping and receiving procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Works with Quality Control to ensure incoming finished goods and purchased production parts are qualified before being released for sale or use in manufacturing.
  • Fills out production order requests for Work in Process (WIP) parts, resin and purchased production parts. Picks, packs, and ships all orders. Conducts live loads into trailers or stages for loading onto containers. Verifies items to be shipped against pick tickets to ensure shipping accuracy.
  • Follows all C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) procedures.
  • Transfers finished goods and component products from Production to Shipping both physically and in E1. Verifying transfers are for correct item number, quantities, and locations. Notifies Planner when transfer causes inventory discrepancies.
  • Conducts daily inspections of forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Picks up and delivers finished goods from and to various locations. Delivers MRO’s to different departments within the company.
  • Weighs count parts for storage in warehouse or shipment to customers.
  • Processes UPS orders including picking, processing in ShipExec, staging and end of day close out processes.
  • Stages and loads trailers and containers. Prepares large truck and international orders to make sure they are palletized and loaded correctly into trailers and containers of specific sizes.
  • Replenishes emptied forward pick locations.
  • Prepares BOL paperwork for shipment of finished goods, parts, and related items including shipment confirmation in E1. Prepares required internal paperwork for shipment of international finished goods, parts, and related items.
  • Receives finished goods, purchased production parts, resins and MRO’s into JD Edwards system PO receiving module. Receives manufactured products into the JD Edwards system using RF technology.
  • Supports Shipping & Receiving Supervisor as back-up, as needed, with distribution of workloads and assignment of daily responsibilities. Assists Supervisor in maintaining necessary levels of shipping supplies. Assists with training of seasonal temporary staff and Shipping and Receiving Clerk I.
  • May be required to work overtime when necessary.
