Position: Shipping Receiving Clerk
Location: Cameron Park, CA
Status: Full Time
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for receiving items, examine incoming shipments, reject damage items and record shortages. Insure accurate routing of incoming deliveries. Pack, weigh, label material for shipment as directed. Responsible for performing all clerical tasks in connection with shipping parts and receiving incoming shipments. Package and prepare parts for shipment to customer per instructions.

  • Pull parts determined by job schedule from inventory or from completed inspection
  • Verify and keep record of outgoing shipments
  • Assure orders and shipping quantities match quantities on job schedule
  • Post mark, stamp, or bag and tag parts as required
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirement
  • Prepares shipments for pick up using FedEx, UPS or other freight programs
  • Prepare shipments for delivery to customer, outside process or stock per instructions
  • Assists with deliveries as needed and directed by management in local area
  • Performs inventory cycle counts
  • Counts and verifies quantities of incoming shipments from vendors or customers
  • Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • MS Office desirable but not required
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus but not required (we will train)
  • Effective time management skills
  • Multitasking skills and detail oriented
