Job Title: Shipper /Driver
Job Summary: Must have CDL. Responsible for loading and unloading shipments from carriers and maintaining an accurate count in a safe orderly manner. They are also responsible for general housekeeping and safety of themselves and others.

RESPONSIBILIES/DUTIES: Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Stage and load orders, insuring correct product mix and accurate count for shipping.
2. Select product from storage inventory for shipment to insure inventory rotation.
3. Perform job responsibilities in a safe, orderly and efficient fashion in order to protect self and others and keep warehouse in a neat condition.
4. Operate fork lift.
5. Make final loading check of tally sheets.
6. Report all safety hazards observed in the Shipping Area, also notes any mechanical defects on equipment to the Supervisor or Lead on duty.
7. Check dock plates and DokLok and chocks for proper installation.
8. Check floors of trailers for sturdiness.
9. Assist in closing and sealing trailer doors.
10. Conducts food safety and defense self-inspections and reports on deficiencies.
11. Follow GFSI, Safety, Quality and Production requirements.
12. Report any Food Safety Problem to senior management.
13. Perform other duties delegated or assigned by Supervisor and/or Distribution Coordinator.
14. Record accurate count of all materials loaded and unloaded on outbound and inbound shipments by using a scanner or manually.
15. Prepare trailers for loading.
16. Operate lift truck and clamp truck.
