Shipping Clerk/Spotter (Weekend Shift)

The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Shipping Clerk (CDL Class A Required) for Weekend Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for our Seymour, IN facility. As a Shipping Clerk, you are responsible for the daily processing of product shipping orders including both domestic and international shipments. Also, responsible for training new shipping processors on correct order shipping procedures.
Weekend Shift Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm (Work 36 Hours, Get Paid for 40!)

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college level courses, or post-secondary training preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a shipping setting with experience using scanners and shipping/postage software.
• Forklift Experience
• Preferred to maintain a valid Class A CDL

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication skills; able to speak effectively to employees, managers, customers, etc.; ability to lead meetings competently and respond to questions; ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to operate a gas-powered forklift, stock picker, and reach truck preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting of lighter items throughout the workday
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to apply proper understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Attention to detail
• Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, stand and sit
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception and peripheral vision.
