Description:

SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to stand, twist, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
  • Able to read a tape measure and match the correct label with the correct lite of glass.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, stand, sit, lift, push, and pull repetitively and/or throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Steel toe boots required (not company provided).
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow all health, safety, quality, and labor standards applying to your area of responsibility.
  • Passing pre-employment requirements such as physical, drug screen, weight lift test, and criminal background check are condition of employment for all positions.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Process paperwork and payments for customer pick-ups.
  • Interface with drivers and customer service representatives to create back orders.
  • Assist with booking third-party freight and with creating accompanying documentation.
  • Ensure all job site deliveries are scheduled with customers.
  • Print all proof of deliveries and organize by route.
  • Create daily routes and assign appropriate drivers and trucks to each route.
  • Locate and expedite customer shipments.
  • Track departmental supplies and assist with ordering.
  • Maintain organization of staging areas, researching dated orders and coordinating disposition of product.
  • Gather data for period-end finished goods reporting.
  • Manage group inbox for the shipping department, ensuring prompt resolution on all inquiries.
  • Handle paperwork for pick-ups and return material authorizations from customer locations.
  • Deliver all customers checks and invoices to accounting for processing.
  • All other duties as assigned by shipping manager or supervisor
