QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3rd Level Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in warehouse/shipping operations.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

WHAT TYPE OF WORK WILL YOU BE DOING? WHAT ASSIGNMENTS, REQUIREMENTS, OR SKILLS WILL YOU BE PERFORMING ON A REGULAR BASIS?

The shipping Co Ordinator role includes the management and creation of shipping documentation, ensuring finished goods pallets are secure and labelled correctly and overseeing and scheduling, picking and loading of products for distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and managing shipping documentation
  • Maintaining records of all dispatched goods
  • Scheduling of transport for shipments
  • Checking completeness of shipments before dispatch
  • Releasing pick lists to warehouse staff
  • Ensure stock movements are maintained in SAP
  • Overseeing the packing and loading of products to ensure they are properly secured for transport
  • Tracking shipments and communicating any delays or issues
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and legal guidelines, standards, and regulations in all shipping and transportation processes
  • Performing regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy

This role reports Kevin Walters, our Supply Chain Manager. You will join Kevins growing team of 10 that Warehouse Lead, Planning Lead and Customs and Logistics Analyst.
