Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Diploma
- Preferably at least 2-3 years of experience handling shipping operations
- Sense of urgency, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in the Manufacturing industry is a plus
- Fresh candidates with a strong interest in shipping may apply
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with freight forwarders, direct customers and overseas agency for outgoing and incoming shipments
- Attending to phone calls and email enquiries on Air/Ocean freight for both FCL/LCL Bookings
- Handling of all outgoing shipments
- Preparing shipments containing Dangerous Goods for courier
- Data entry of various shipment information into SAP
- Order processing (Quotation, PO, DO and Invoicing)
- Support/work closely with sales and operation team
- Any administrative and ad-hoc duties as per instructed by your superior
