Description:

Main Purpose:
To ensure proper and efficient operation of LPG & LNG vessels controlled by Trafigura. Optimize and Maximize vessels performance in line with commercial requirements following global standards and international regulations at all times.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Office experience within Gas Carriers Operations required or a Captain Class C or B Diploma
  • Strong business insight and commercial approach
  • Ability to work in a multinational challenging, fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Ability to speak/write fluent English
  • High IT system literacy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake voyage planning to meet international regulation and respond to vessel issues
  • Handle vessels bunker schedule.
  • Supervise Gas Management Optimization of LPG/LNG vessels.
  • Review stowage planning
  • Coordinate Agency appointments
  • Provide Voyage Orders to vessels
  • Improve vessel’s performance during voyages (speed, routing and consumption), optimize it and minimize emissions.
  • Handle questionnaires, certificates, LOI’s and all relevant supporting docs
  • Vetting
  • Update company’s software with required data
  • Working with internal and external counterparties to ensure the smooth management of ongoing operations, including pre and post operations activities
