Description:
Responsibilities:
- Handle shipping and chartering operations, including preparation of charter parties, resolution of operational issues, laytime calculations, and agent nominations.
- Coordinate shipping activities in accordance with the shipping schedule and port allocation.
- Update the shipping interface and provide frequent forecasts to the Marketing and Port Operations team.
- Assist in shipping documentation, report shipping costs to accounts department, and monitor industry regulations and operations.
- Conduct vessel vetting, and compliance checks to maintain safety and integrity.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the MinRes long-term freight strategy.
- Closely communicate with the port, ship-brokers, agents and marketing team to achieve optimal efficiency of bulk loading to meet customer and other stakeholder requirements
