JOB SUMMARY:

Shipping Processing Clerk accepts and processes incoming stock orders. Performs all functions related to the receipt and storage of factory-sourced parts, accessories, and related materials.
Shipping Processing Clerk Responsibilities:

Inbound Processes:

  • Maintain receiving process, inbound pack list, GR’s, inbound trailer booking
  • Maintain, reconcile in transit discrepancies and POD process
  • Maintain daily aging reports

Outbound Processes

  • Maintain outbound processes, print and dispatch orders
  • Maintain outbound shipment, bill of lading process
  • Maintain daily outbound aging reports
  • Maintain and monitor all outbound processes
  • Maintain HAZMAT shipment records

Other Processes

  • Fact finding and data analysis for root cause analysis
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in Quality/Environmental programs as directed by management
  • Support material handlers and team leads with data inquiries and problem-solving

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two (2) years related experience, knowledge of general office procedures. Distribution related experience inbound and outbound processes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under minimal amount of supervision.
  • Organization, typing, data entry skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness, decision making, independence, analyzing information, results driven and high energy level.
  • PC experience in MS Office programs, Word, Excel, etc.
