Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working primarily in shipping and receiving and the warehouse the applicant will be involved in all aspects of materials management and logistics including but not limited to:
- Receiving and inspecting and storing materials
- Packing and Shipping
- Cycle Counting
- Administration and paperwork
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
The materials handling activity physically active and requires some lifting therefore the applicant must be sufficiently able bodied to perform the role.
The applicant must be literate and numerate and fluent in English
The position requires good communication skills both written and verbal.
A valid drivers licence is required
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED FOR THE ROLE
Experience in materials handling, stockroom and inventory control.
Computer systems and data entry experience.
Experience with SAP MM or PP
Experience with Microsoft Office software especially Excel and Outlook.
Experience in Import\Export processes is an advantage.
