BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months plus experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing
• Regularly lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs
• Current Forklift License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
• English communication and work in a team environment
• Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and lift or move materials

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Carrier HVAC Residential has a position for a Shipping / Receiving Specialist who would be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing equipment/parts to and from our warehouse in Mississauga that is going to our clients. This is a 1st shift role and would require sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods and lifting or moving materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Track inventory using barcoding scanners
• Keep accurate records of equipment and parts
• Pack and weigh items
• Print shipping labels, check, inspect, and verify inbound and outbound shipments
• Involved with cycle counts
• Participate in the annual physical inventory process
• Occasional general maintenance of our warehouse facility
