Shipyard Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in shipyard operation or a relavant engineering field.
• Strong understanding of vessel structures, systems and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent safety awareness and commitment adhering to safety regulations.

• Oversee the fabrication and assembly of various ship components, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and shipyard personnels to troubleshoot and resolve technicial issues.
• Conduct inspection and tests to ensure adherence to safety regulation and classification society requirements.
• Assess the extent of damage on vessels requiring repair.
• Coordinate repair activities with various trades, including welders, pipe fitters, electricians and machanics.
• Perform and supervise repair works, ensuring quality and adherence to safety protocols.
