Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Tea Store Assistant/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for tea. This role combines assisting customers, managing store operations, and supervising and training staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous experience in retail, preferably in a food or beverage environment (especially tea).
· Strong passion for tea and willingness to learn about various types and brewing techniques.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to supervise, assist and motivate a team effectively.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers, helping them select teas and related products that suit their preferences.
· Sales Support: Achieve sales targets by promoting products, conducting tastings, and engaging customers in conversations about tea.
· Supervision: Oversee daily store operations, including training and performance management.
· Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory ordering, and ensure proper product displays.
· Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment that reflects the brand’s image.
· Product Knowledge: Stay informed about tea varieties, brewing methods, and industry trends to provide accurate information and recommendations.
· Conflict Resolution: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to foster a positive work culture and ensure excellent service delivery.
