We are currently seeking a Shipper/Laborer to support daily operations at our shop in Edmonton. This role plays an essential part in ensuring smooth logistics, shipping, and shop organization. If you thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment and are detail-oriented, we want to hear from you!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and overhead cranes (certification preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for occasional parts pick-ups.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand throughout the day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, bobcats, and overhead cranes (up to 20 tons).
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist with shipping/receiving duties and act as the primary shipper during absences or holidays.
- Material Transport: Pick up parts and materials from local vendors as needed.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tools, work areas, and parts.
- Support Technicians: Provide assistance to shop technicians with various tasks to support operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and equipment availability.
