QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Technical college education or equivalent formal training in Electrical Engineering Technologies,
  • Possess CET/CTech or Electrician’s/ Journeyman designation/license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly and wiring of Electrical Equipment
  • Experience with Low and Medium voltage products
  • Strong interpersonal and Organizational skills
  • Familiar with Canadian Electrical Code and ISO Standards (9001-2015)

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of a wide variety of Schneider products, focusing on Low and Medium voltage equipment such as Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Switchgears, Panelboards and other Customer products or Solutions.
  • Installation of a various control equipment, ground fault production systems, automatic transfer schemes, relays and meters.
  • In process Inspection of Equipment during assembly and wiring process
  • Upkeep and ownership the personal tools including timely calibration, maintenance, and replacement reporting
  • Assist with troubleshooting of the equipment and report the Quality Improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in the maintaining and development of an ISO standards

SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completion and Compliance with Safety Training Plan and Safety KPI targets.
  • Maintain in good condition and wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment
  • Report all hazards, incidents, and opportunities
  • Comply with all Provincial HS&E legislation and regulations and Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain 5S and good housekeeping habits
