SHOP TECHNICIAN

at  Sportsmans Warehouse

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Good verbal and written communication is required as well as good math skills and problem solving skills. The ability to work with little supervision and be self motivated is also required.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Training on all tools and equipment used in shop area is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position involves a variety of physical activities including: talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position does not require travel.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To assist customers with work that is required in the shop.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and maintain the shop area.
• Bore mount customer scopes.
• Spool line onto fishing reels for customers.
• Fill CO2 tanks for customers.
• Cut and glue inserts into arrows.
• Assist in fishing or hunting department when necessary.
• Fill out and control all shop tickets.
• Work closely with the Store Manager in making needed store repairs.
• All other duties as assigned.
