ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify E-commerce Platform Developer to build and maintain our Shopify store. The ideal candidate will have expertise in coding, theme development, and customising Shopify features, leveraging tools like JavaScript, Git, Shopify APIs, Shopify CLI and Shopify Liquid for enhanced functionality and seamless performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and customise Shopify themes using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly design.
• Leverage Shopify CLI to streamline theme development, manage storefront APIs, and debug custom code.
• Develop or integrate custom Shopify apps to enhance functionality, including third-party and proprietary solutions.
• Configure and customise Shopify’s content management system to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
• Utilise the Shopify API for custom integrations, such as payment gateways, third-party tools, and inventory management systems.
• Optimise website speed, responsiveness, and SEO for better user experience and search engine rankings.
• Manage server-side logic, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.
• Work closely with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to implement website updates and new features.
• Use Git for version control to ensure code integrity and facilitate collaboration.
