Role Purpose:
The Shopper Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Shopper Marketing Team to produce and execute in-store promotional material (POS). Driving sales and conversion by implementing clear and engaging POS to help our customers to spot and shop our excellent range of offers and products and providing excellent in store experience.
This role reports to Assistant Marketing Manager for Shopper Marketing at Superdrug Stores Plc.
A typical day in this role includes:
Key internal stakeholders: Wider Marketing team, buyers, store teams
Key external stakeholders: External agencies and suppliers, ITG, FSU Agency, DHL Parcels
Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage all promotional POS for ROI stores
Liaising with buyers to ensure POS reflects accurate pricing
Working closely with ITG to develop creatives
Creating clear and engaging footfall driving Point of sale inviting customers to come in and shop our fantastic offers
Delivery of the Starbuy and Core members POS plan to all Superdrug stores
Working closely with our key suppliers to gather accurate guidelines
Understanding the best use of POS in each store space, working closely with and taking feedback from store teams to ensure it’s right for our customers
Finance admin
Support wider team with adhoc administrative tasks

What you’ll need:
Experience working in retail or similar fast paced environment
Experience working with Microsoft Office 365
Marketing degree or equivalent experience in a role
Passion for Instore Marketing Point of Sale/Fixtures (this is not a digital Marketing role)
An understanding of marketing retail principles
Confident energetic approach
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent ability to work to deadline and prioritise workload
Strong organisation skills
Problem Solver
Excellent PC skill
