OVERVIEW

We are seeking a competent and professional SIA Door Supervisor to join our rapidly expanding security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing entry points, monitoring activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential.
• Desired: military experience.
• Strong knowledge of physical prevention techniques and surveillance methods.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and patrons.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

  Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
• Conduct regular surveillance of the area using CCTV systems to detect any suspicious behaviour.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances and ensure the safety of all staff and customers.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as and when required.
• Prepare incident reports and document any unusual occurrences during shifts.
• Assist in training new security personnel on company protocols and procedures.
