Description
SAIC is seeking a Signal Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the research & development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs located in No. Charleston, SC.
The SME provides technical expertise and support in one or more of the following areas:
- Knowledge of the RF domain/spectrum.
- Strong working knowledge of SIGINT analysis tools and techniques, specifically those for Raw SIGINT exploitation.
- Experience with radio waveform analysis determining signals externals such as center frequency, modulation type and data rates as well as internal encoding schemes.
- Applying critical thinking to decipher complex and sometimes ambiguous signal information.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years of related experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with supporting signals intelligence operations to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Must have at least 5 years of technical COMINT or ELINT derived signals experience.
- Proficient with standard Signals Analysis Tool (SAT) suite (COMINT) or Aspen (ELINT)
- Experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
- Field work setting up collection/processing systems and associated equipment such as receivers, filters and antennas.
- Experience with traditional DoD IC reporting techniques on SIGINT findings
- Ability to communicate complex signal analysis findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear and concise reports.
- Identifying small anomalies in signal data requires a high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Linux command line environment.
- Proficient with MS office programs.
