DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Position Type: Contract, Full-time (6 months)
Location: Toronto, Canada
Expected Salary: $55.00 - $65.00
We are looking for a Signaling Design Specialist Designer - Sr. for our client in North York. This is a hybrid 6-month contract.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Computer sciences, Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience:
- minimum 3+ years relevant experience in development
- Skills of software-based System applications.
- Technical/Specialized Knowledge:
- Strong application (automated train control systems) domain knowledge &
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, methods and tools.
- Knowledge of systems development life cycle.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Good marketing and presentation skills. Ability to sell/defend product to customers with differing levels of knowledge about automated systems.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Experience in using DOORS, Melody advance, etc..
- Rail Signaling knowledge (desirable).
- Certifications: P. Eng license is desirable
