ABOUT THE PAY AND BENEFITS

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $33.00/hr to $35.40/hr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.

Responsibilities:

  • Our Materials department, composed of over 50 people, is focused on delivering safety and reliability, and regulatory compliance for our operations site.
  • As a Silica Packager, this position will consists of three different assignments: the bagging system, the super-sack filling, and bulk loading. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the growing Silica family and have a positive impact on transformation journey of Solvay.
  • You will be accountable for:
  • Changeover/Shutdown of Automatic Bagging System (Bagging system assignment) as well as empty and purge product from bagging system.
  • Makes changes to system “parameters” (examples- fill rate, bag weights) as needed, to achieve high quality and productivity.
  • Performs minor mechanical work on equipment to change over to a different bag or product, or as part of shutdown procedures.
  • Performs minor preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.
