We are looking for a research analyst to join a growing team building the next generation of software to improve surgery and patient outcomes. Our product suite includes a mobile assessment platform for medical residents and a comprehensive analytics tool that transforms medical data into actionable insights for our clients. At the Society for Improving Medical Professional Learning (SIMPL) you will be focused on design and development for our online learning analytics dashboard applications. You will work with team of engineers, and product designers to ship real product features to thousands of users globally. Were looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work autonomously with high levels of quality communication and craftsmanship.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2+ years exp working with large datasets
  • 2+ years experience in software development

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Typically requires a masters degree and two to four years of experience.
  • Masters in information/data science
  • 1+ years experience with dashboard development
  • 1+ years in learning analytics

Responsibilities:

  • Creates oral and written reports for clients and scientific audiences.
  • Analyzes and interprets collected data.
  • Applies psychometric methods to the measurement of outcomes and uses multivariate models to calculate variations in data.
  • Directs or participates in project teams to develop and employ methods to estimate and predict outcomes.
  • Writes technical or similar large-scale proposals.
