Job Description:
The SIOP Supervisor is responsible for supporting the global SIOP management system and related processes to improve market share, margin, and production efficiencies while maintaining customer service levels. The role is critical to the development and execution of the SIOP function as part of the overall business transformation to the build to stock model and advanced planning system deployment. The role will be responsible for workflow design, process execution/improvement, and future state roadmap for Genie’s (Terex AWP) global SIOP operations. A successful candidate will have experience in supply planning execution processes and an understanding of the relationship between SIOP departmental activities.

Responsibilities and Scope:

  • Support development of global SIOP management system; including process design, roadmap execution, policy creation and standardization, and defining/achieving key performance indicators
  • Maintain SIOP policy, standard work, and decision-making framework to drive successful implementation and measurable results – Ensure the policies are understood and adhered to by direct and indirect stakeholders
  • Participate in and lead Kinaxis Rapid Response system design and enhancements
  • As a SIOP process Lead, lead and facilitate Global New Machine Supply Planning
  • Act as business champion for SIOP and data management related projects
  • Develop, communicate, and improve key performance indicators that align to executive, SIOP, data & solution health, and facility performance measures
  • Assist in the development of systems and reporting to identify and address imbalances in supply and demand. Develop and deliver mitigation scenarios for key risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to ensure master scheduling and supply planning data inputs align to the requirements of internal customers and system architecture
  • Participate in and lead the continuous improvement, standardization of processes, and best practice development across relevant business functions
  • Identify and monitor process variances and deviations to drive solutions for recovery and process improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, planning, materials management, or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP and Advanced Planning Systems, including the management and maintenance of both process and data (preferably Kinaxis RapidResponse, Oracle ASCP, Oracle R12, Oracle Supply Chain Cloud)
  • Experience with site capacity planning and/or global product supply planning and knowledge of industrial manufacturing Sales & Operations Planning processes
  • Experience with managing master data, data warehousing, mapping, and transformation practices
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated expertise in critical thinking, influence, negotiation, problem solving, and strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing or six sigma methodology to drive continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global or multi-plant industrial manufacturing company
  • 3-5 years of experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response, including solution design, development, and testing
  • APICS accreditation or other related certifications
  • Experience in developing and implementing world class, global supply chain planning processes and managing them through deployment of an APS system
  • Exposure and experience in industrial manufacturing process, principles, and practices; preferably at production site and corporate levels
  • Experience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputable global manufacturing company
